Fethiye property
Fethiye straight away is associated with OLUDENIZ - the world famous and one of the most beautiful blue water lagoons and beaches. The crystal pure water of Oludeniz is almost as clean as the water we drink at home - but with salt! Oludeniz consists of two parts: Belcekiz (Belcegiz) which lies along the bay to the lagoon. This part is the windy part of Oludeniz. The second part is the real Oludeniz with the lagoon inside. This part is the calm and shallow.

Oludeniz is only a short drive (12 km) from Fethiye by public transport (local dolmush - mini-bus used as a taxi). Here, with all kinds of water sports (canoe, surf, waterskiing, banana boat, paracending), you can also play beach-volleyball.
The bars and restaurants are always ready to serve you. The Blue Lagoon is a National Park and a small fee is payable on entrance to the park. You cannot buy a property in this part of Fethiye, as it is a natural park and construction is forbidden.

Cost of living in Turkey
Hisaronu is a charming resort in a beautiful village very popular amongst British holiday makers located centrally between the town of Fethiye and Oludeniz. It is one of the favourite holiday destinations in Turkey. It offers an overwhelming choice of restaurants and bars, but also appeals to people who have an interest in walking and site-seeing as it is nearby the deserted village KayaKoy better known as the 'ghost town.' Properties in Hisaronu are always in demand due the convenient location; however properties for sale here are not cheap.

This is one of the few villages around Fethiye where you can buy a property (apartment or villa) on the sea front or in close proximity to a nice sandy beach.
